Senior Drupal Developer

What you'll do

We are seeking for a Senior Drupal Developer to join our growing European team and support digital platform, content management and experience delivery for International Private and Public Institutions.

As a senior consultant, you will operate at the intersection of technology, content architecture and user experience, supporting the design and delivery of Drupal-based digital platforms, structured content experiences and reusable web components.

You will be part of a multidisciplinary network combining consulting, design, content, data and technology capabilities, helping public clients build accessible, maintainable and user-centric digital services and knowledge platforms.

This role requires proven hands-on Drupal delivery experience, strong CMS implementation skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with designers, business analysts, content specialists and senior stakeholders in complex, multi-country delivery environments.

• hands-on Drupal development and site-building
• CMS architecture awareness and content modelling
• collaboration with UX, content and business analysis teams
• public sector (especially EU institutions) digital platform delivery experience (nice to have)

Who we're looking for

Must have

• 5+ years Drupal development/site-building; ≥3 years professional Drupal web development
• Drupal content types, taxonomy, menus, views, roles & permissions, configuration management, CMS workflows
• PHP, Twig, Composer, Drush, Git
• Experience with content-heavy platforms, portals, knowledge sites, public-facing web services
• Accessibility, usability, performance, security, maintainability
• Collaboration with UX, content, business analysis, communications, technology
• Communication of technical choices to non-technical stakeholders
• Fluency in English

Required experience

• Drupal development/site-building/CMS implementation
• Delivery of Drupal pages, content structures, templates, reusable components
• Work in complex stakeholder environments (public sector, international, multilingual)
• Operating in distributed, cross-functional teams
• Ownership mindset, attention to detail, commitment to quality
• Fluency in English (C1)

Ideally

• Projects for international public institutions, European Commission DGs, agencies, public-sector bodies
• Knowledge of Drupal 9, 10, 11 and modern Drupal architecture
• Multilingual Drupal, content translation workflows, localisation QA
• Digital service design, UX collaboration, content architecture
