Refund Policy

1. Scope
This policy applies to Plus and Pro plan purchases on careercompass.pl. The Free plan involves no payment and is not subject to refunds.
2. Your 14-day withdrawal right
Under EU Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights, you have the right to withdraw from a digital-service purchase within 14 calendar days of the purchase date, for any reason or none.
To exercise this right, send a refund request to support@careercompass.pl before the 14-day window closes. Include the Stripe receipt you received at checkout.
3. How the refund is calculated
A Career Compass plan is a fixed-duration access right (Plus = 3 months / 90 days; Pro = 6 months / 180 days). Refunds within the 14-day window are pro-rated by the share of the plan period that has already elapsed:
Worked example. You buy Plus for 59 zł on day 0. Plus runs for 90 days. You request a refund on day 7 (within the 14-day window). The unused fraction is 83/90, so the refund is:
The refund is issued to the original payment method via Stripe, typically arriving within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.
4. What happens to your account
- Your plan reverts to Free immediately when the refund is processed.
- You keep your profile, resume, match history, and saved generations.
- Daily caps drop back to the Free-plan values (2 of each AI action per day).
- You may buy a new Plus or Pro plan at any time.
5. After 14 days
After the 14-day withdrawal window closes, plans are non-refundable. The plan continues until its scheduled expiry, then your account reverts to Free automatically. No card is stored, so there are no auto-renewals or future charges.
